Noah Gokul is a multi-disciplinary artist, healing educator, and peer. They currently serve as Program Manager at the Institute for the Development of Human Arts. Born and raised in Oakland, CA, Noah identifies as a person with trauma and sensitivities from the world around them. They use sound and art for meaning-making and healing, and have participated in a range of exhibitions, performances, art collectives, and speaking engagements both in Berlin and across the U.S. Noah has a background in peer support, having worked for three years as a peer specialist in a first-episode psychosis program. In this role, they used their own lived experience and holistic approaches to support young adults. They have also trained and facilitated in a wide variety of settings.
