Fabiola Hamdan – Immigration Affairs Supervisor, Dane County Department of Human Services Fabiola Hamdan is a bilingual, bi-cultural Senior Social Worker and the inaugural Immigration Affairs Supervisor for the Dane County Department of Human Services. With a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Fabiola specializes in immigrant and refugee integration, providing vital outreach and resources to support these communities. An immigrant from Bolivia herself, she champions the rights and needs of immigrants in Dane County. Fabiola’s dedication has earned her numerous accolades, including the YWCA Women of Distinction Award (2011), the NASW Distinguished Service Award (2003), and the ATHENA Award (2007), among others. Her remarkable contributions underscore her commitment to social equity and community empowerment.
