Jenni Martinez-Lorenzo is the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents, with extensive experience in social work. Specializing in family engagement, cultural brokering, and resource coordination, Jenni is committed to supporting Latinx families and communities. She has worked to bridge cultural gaps in educational and healthcare settings, ensuring families have access to essential resources and support. At Seattle Children’s Hospital, Jenni provides cultural consultation to the Eating Disorder Recovery Program, offering Spanish-language caregiver training and coaching interpreters to improve care and psychoeducation. Jenni has supported Latinx students and facilitated family relationships with schools. Her work focuses on creating spaces of belonging, advocacy, and culturally responsive care, rooted in liberation, equity, empowerment, advocacy and building cross-cultural relationships for Latinx and immigrant communities.
