Alma Torres Pierce is a bilingual and bicultural middle school social worker with the Wausau School District. She previously served as a Pupil Services Navigator in a rural school district in central Wisconsin, supporting students and families through academic, social, and systemic transitions. Alma brings a strong background in higher education, with experience in student support services, academic advising, and multicultural education. She is actively involved in immigrant rights advocacy and currently volunteers with the MLK Wausau community event. Her work centers on equity, culturally responsive practice, and strengthening connections between schools, families, and communities.
